Tate's Birthday

Grady's little buddy Tate invited him to Red Robin to celebrate his 4th birthday with him.
 Best buddies

Weird or not?

This is one of my many trapeze outfits. I like dressing fun and wearing stuff you normally can't wear...its the circus after all! Anyway....Gregg thinks this outfit is weird. It's not the fishnet, it's not the shirt, its the legwarmers he says. I say they are fine and go with the outfit. And yes, my shirt does say Natural Redhead: Proceed with Caution. As my sister, Kelli says... "Its appropriate, people need to know what they are dealing with." So very true.

So, what say you? Weird or not?

Garrison's buddies

These are Garrison's best little buds from preschool. Caleb and Isabella. I pick them all up from class everyday and we get fruit snacks.

Oh, Papa....

Grady loves you.

Happy 40th Birthday, Terra

My friend, Terra, turned 40 at the end of April. Her husband threw her a swanky party. It was great to see old friends, and meet some new ones. I've known Terra half my life.

The birthday girl
my dear friend, Tamara and I
Elke and I....no we didn't coordinate our outfit colors ;-)
I've know all these people half my life....these were some of the first people I met when I moved up here to Seattle....18 years later, we are all still in touch. I love that!

Holy headband curls, Batman

I'm pretty sure that my hair was wound a little too tight around the headband the last time I did my headband curls. And this was AFTER it had relaxed and I had had it pulled up for a couple hours. It was at my chin when I took it down. No, you do not get to see a picture of that. It wasn't pretty. And it was poofy. Very very poofy. Trust me.

Grumpy Garrison

Garrison is almost 3. I'm not sure I need to explain anymore than that. He's really got a 'tude lately. Goodness.

Mad that his mean momma is making him eat his dinner. Or, at least one bit of everything on his plate. Can you imagine?
Circus Class had a sub coach and Garrison was not happy about it, so he would not participate. So, he sat on the bench the whole time.
and this was over his socks....he didn't think he needed to have any one with his tennis shoes.
If anyone is interested in taking him for a day or week, please contact me.

New Camera

My camera has been giving me trouble for quite some time, but I've just been dealing with it. Gregg says its because I'm hard on electronics. He's probably right since I go through about a camera every 18 months. Well, I've finally had enough with the last one and decided to start watching the deals for a new camera. So, today, I found a screaming deal for a camera and got it. After all was said and done, the camera was only $60. I love a good deal....and now, hopefully I will take more pictures since I have a functioning camera again.

Excuse the mess that is my downstairs. Today, I focused on laundry, bathrooms and the upstairs. Tomorrow will be the downstairs. It's never ending.

Fabric Sling

My friend, Patty, that I train with got a new fabric sling and so she has been showing me a few things on it. I rather like it and can't wait for her to show me a few more things. This is called the "Bird".

Samish Island

Last weekend, we headed up to Samish Island to spend the day with Gregg's family. We decided to bring my new portable trapeze rig and set it up fully extended and see how it did. Once we did that, Gregg's family requested a "show", so I showed them a routine I've been working on. Here are a few pictures of the rig and I.
 "Arabesque"
 "Coffin"
 "Amazon"
 Straddle Back Balance
Front Balance. And yes, I know the look on my face is terrible. I was concentrating. Need to work on my facial expressions :)
And the boys had SO much fun playing together.
Cleo's grandson, Brian, helped the boys build a fort. Apparently after this picture was taken a stinky seaweed roof was added.
