Happy Halloween!!

Our annual front porch Halloween picture!
My lion, ninja and bat. All 3 boys have worn that lion costume, Gibson wore the bat one, and the ninja costume was a new purchase...according to Gibson it was the best $5 we spent all year! lol.
Trick or treating with Kea and Tiernan aka Candace and Phineas from Phineas and Ferb, down at the Mill Creek Town Center
The giant pumpkin the kids wanted their picture in front of.....not that you can see the aforementioned pumpkin!
And of course, after the town center, we headed over to trick or treat at Aunt Wanda and Uncle Steve's house.
Then, came home, dumped the buckets and did the street...
This is about *half* of what the kids got. Some of this will get passed along...

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween....

oh, and Happy Birthday to my best friend, Bridget!

G3 singing

G3 has a new found love of singing....he sings everything. It's completely adorable. You'll see...I keep watching the video over and over and over, you will, too.

Under the Big Top

The Friday before Halloween our church hosted a "Circus Night" called Under the Big Top. Before the event was planned, I was asked to help find some talent because word got out about my trapeze and the circus school I attend and it seemed I had an "in". I was very happy to help out since I love planning stuff and helping out where needed. I put all the info together after talking with the school and met with the event planners/Pastors and passed on all the info. They booked 2 really cool acts and I was super excited to hear about the planning of the night as things went along. Then...the big night came!

The kids got up that morning and asked me non stop about when we were going. Gibson had a half day that day so the questions were in rapid fire all but 2.5 hours of the day.

There were bounce houses set up, along with the velcro wall which was Gibson's bounce house of choice!
Then, it was time for the show....everyone was so excited! The kids had their popcorn and asked us 4,785,692,826 times when the show was going to start.
Then, finally it started...as part of the show, the hosts, Pastor Blake and Pastor Stacy, showed one of my trapeze videos and I talked about flying on the flying trapeze at the circus school. It was really fun. I haven't been up on any stage in years and years and I was nervous, but it all went off without a hitch :)
And I got to help introduce the first act....the uni-cyclist Nick and his partner Wendy. I have "flown" with Nick and worked with him on the trapeze and he is a great guy, so it was fun to be able to introduce them!
G3 watched intently.
Then, from America's Got Talent, they had Gabe the Bulldog. I had never heard of or seen them before, so that was kind of fun. He is a very sweet dog. They are PNWers and so it was easy for them to come and be in the show.
And then, there was Nickolai from the circus school. He.is.amazing. His juggling is awesome. I could watch him perform for hours. He's really talented.
G3 meeting Gabe the Bulldog
G3 doesn't look happy here, but he was more mad about having to get in the picture with me, he wasn't afraid of the dog or anything and of course, he smiled right after this picture was taken. Stinker.
Gibson stayed with me for the 2nd show while Gregg took the other G-Men home. Part of the show was the Angry Bird life sized game. Gibson wanted to do it SO BAD but wasn't chosen...so I let him ask Pastor Blake if he could shot his Angry Bird he brought with him after the show was over. His wish was granted :)
This night was right up my alley. It was so fun! I can't wait til next year...

Sky High

A while back I saw a Groupon for a place in Bellevue called Sky High. It's basically a wall to wall trampoline place and I knew I had to go! So, I snapped up 2 Groupons and promptly forgot about them. Fast forward a few months and I remembered I had them (story of my life) and so, I gathered the Girls from the Sac and off we went! SO FUN! If you have never been to this place, pack up the family and GO! It's a great workout and a blast. We jumped for 2 hours and were exhausted! I can't wait to take the kids.
