SNOW!!!!

*sigh* Snow. Lots of snow. The stuck at the house kind of snow. I don't mind snow for half a day or so, but more than that and I'm annoyed. I'm especially annoyed when I have to cancel plans because of the pretty white stuff or my kids miss almost an entire week of school, which means we are into almost the last week in June before school gets out. Boo! 

Anyway....of course the boys were THRILLED with the stuff. They couldn't wait to get out and play in it and started asking the minute they got up in the morning (they get up about 6, usually!). So, we finally gave in about 9:30am....

Garrison was not happy initially because he had to wear gloves. He has a pair that fit him, but we could only find one or them. I had both of them when I pulled the bin out, so I'm not sure where it went, but it was gone. So, we had to figure something else out.

Day 3 of snow...and hopefully our last day (today). I'm tired of having it impact my social life and activities. I've had to cancel pottery painting/dinner plans with a girlfriend and my flying trapeze class was canceled today. Boo hiss. Not a happy girl.

 Gregg had told Gibson that if it snowed another 4-6 inches, Gibson could ski down the hill....that happened this morning!

 Gregg decided to get his tele skis out and ski the street.

 Grady loves to ride up in the sled. He's hop in any sled anyone is pulling.

Pottery

After my friend Kristi and I went and made pottery, I signed Gregg and I up for a class. I knew he would LOVE it. 

When we got there, there was a gal taking pictures and asked us to sit down and pose, so we did. Don't you like Gregg's vase? He did a great job, huh? 

 This is the lady that owns the studio and teaches all the classes. She is really fun and a great teacher.

 I needed a bit of help this time. For some reason, my bowls were lopsided because of how I was holding my hands, so she gave me some extra help. Good thing Gregg and I were the only ones there. 

 Gregg did really great with his first piece. He was a natural. The teacher even commented that she really enjoyed teaching people who "got it" and paid attention. Clearly, she wasn't talking about me.

The Lights of Christmas

We took my parents up to the Warm Beach camp to show them the Lights of Christmas display they put on every year. We hadn't been since Grady was born, so it was really fun to go back and see it for us, too.
